This sporty short tour for mountain bikes and racing bikes leads from the Wipfelwanderweg slightly uphill along the stream into the narrow Rachaugraben to the beautifully scenic fish ponds, where you can fortify yourself with a fresh or smoked fish and a drink. Here you also have the opportunity to catch your own fish before heading back downhill to the village of Rachau and the Wipfelwanderweg. Here you still have the opportunity to experience the highest summit hiking trail in Europe with the eventful circular trail over 2.7 km and the 148 steps through untouched nature or to stop off at the good snack station Fuchs und Henne.
Landmarks: Rachau, GH Rachauerhof - Fischteich Stelzmüller. This route is asphalted and can therefore also be ridden on a road bike. The ideal tour for beginners. From the Wipfelwanderweg car park along the main road to Rachau in the Rachaugraben from there along the asphalt path for approx. 3 km to the fish ponds.
