For refreshment we treat ourselves to a farmhouse bread topped with roast pork, cheese or bacon, hearty soups, crispy oven roasts or homemade cakes and strudels. The menu varies according to the season. It is the small and lovely details that are very important in Gröndahlhaus. So it can happen that you will find one or two daisies on the Styrian cheese bread in summer. High-quality fruit nectars, award-winning fine brandies, openly served Bouteille wines as well as Nespresso coffee and a selection of organic teas make the heart of connoisseurs beat faster. Well strengthened we now have a great descent to the junction of the Wipfelwanderweg where we drive a short way uphill to the car park of the Wipfelwanderweg.
If you are not tired yet, you still have the possibility to walk up 148 steps and to the free floating viewing platform of the treetop trail. The highlight is a 4m long free-floating platform, 20 to 30m above the forest floor, which offers a spectacular view into the depths. From here you also have a wonderful view and can see the landscape from a bird's eye view.
